Metro Area Club Team Tryouts (7/18/2010)

For those 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U players interested in playing on a club team in the Twin Cities this fall, winter, and next summer, see the FastSports girls fastpitch clearinghouse web site.  Teams that have open tryouts are having them in the next couple of weeks ending July and into early August.  The tryout dates run from 7/26 through 8/15.  See the FastSports web site for dates and locations, depending on the team.  This will require a higher level of commitment than KMGSA and the Southern Minny league.

Register for Fall League Now (7/18/2010)

The deadline for fall league registration is Friday, 7/30/2010.  The registration form and fall league details can be found on the Fall League page.

Batting Cages Completed (7/3/2010)

We laid the turf today and hung the nets back up at the Elementary school batting cages. Check it out as both cages look great. The poles will be painted this fall when the nets come down and we will proceed with getting a sign ordered to recognize the contributors.  Talk to your team coach about scheduling batting practice in the cages using the KMGSA calendar.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser Winners (6/16/2010)

The top individual winner was Addie Murry and the winning team was the 10U KM Stars.  The KM Stars edged out a very close 8U KM Purple team.  The prizes have all been ordered from the supplier, and have not come in yet.  We understand the problem with Adult Small being the smallest size that can be ordered for prizes.  We apologize for this mistake and will make sure that this doesn't happen again in the future.
